Just checking in.
Not much going on to report to be honest.
The winter nights are drawing in, and temperatures are dropping. We had our heaviest frost this morning, and it has been really chilly!!!
Covid has driven the country into another lockdown, but at least the vaccine is now being rolled out here and the NHS is using part of our GP surgery for vaccinations.
As for us, we are keeping ourselves to ourselves and avoiding everyone. We are still going for our walks even though Maggie is no longer with us. We miss her terribly. Fifteen is a good age for a dog (she would have been 16 on January 17th), but we'd had her since she was seven weeks old, and she was a part of our lives for half the time we have been a couple. It's left a huge hole, but I am getting my puppy fixes from dogs on the block which are on extension leads to keep the humans socially distanced. No plans for another dog though. It hurts too much.
